Alexander began his career as a lawyer after a successful 8 years in the construction industry. He has gained valuable experience from working as a Civil Engineer and Contracts Manager on construction and demolition projects across the UK. On gaining his law degree and being called to the Bar, he has been providing legal advice to the construction and manufacturing industry, on national and international projects, Alex has an established and excellent reputation as a legal and commercial advisor to a growing list of retained and new clients.
He has experience in Conciliation, Mediation, Adjudication, Litigation and Arbitration. Drawing from this breadth of experience Alex can provide Commercial and Contractual Training, both in-house and externally which is based upon the concept of avoidance, management of those matters that to arise, resolution of any disputes that remain in the most expeditious and cost effective manner
KEY STRENGTHS
Alexander is experienced in the commercial operational aspects of project management and in particular the drafting of contract documentation and legal risk analysis. He has a very good grasp of the issues involved in assessing the strengths and weaknesses of claims for extension of time/ loss and expense, and in the provision of contractual advice generally.
