A former partner with Hammond Suddards Edge, Peter was admitted as a Solicitor in 1985 he was Head of the Construction and Engineering Department at Lewis Silkin before Joining Systech Legal in 2005 and SLS in 2007. Peter has over 22 years experience in construction law having acted for contractors, developers, employers and professionals on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
Peter is a skilled negotiator and also has extensive dispute resolution experience in litigation, adjudication, arbitration and mediation.
On the contracts side Peter has specialist expertise in PFI, partnering, outsourcing, estate regeneration, mixed use developments, social housing, and EU procurement issues.
In 1993 Peter obtained his Masters degree in construction and arbitration law from Kings College London; he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the Society of Construction Law, and a former Fellow of Kings College London and the Bartlett School of Architecture University of London. Peter lectures on both contentious and non-contentious subjects and is a contributor to a number of trade and legal journals.
