Phillip Doherty has over 30 years experience of commercial management in the Construction Industry and in particular the infrastructure- civil engineering and water related sectors. He has managed project QS services involved in feasibility, estimating, contract documentation, valuations, subcontract procurement and management, final accounts, variations and claims preparation, management, negotiation and agreement. He has experience in Conciliation(s),Mediation(s), Adjudication(s), Expert Determination, Litigation and Arbitration cases presented and/or defended and Insolvency and litigation involvement at the highest level, is also on the Adjudication panel of the Institution of Civil Engineers from whom he receives regular nominations to act as an Adjudicator and is a Registered Mediator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Drawing from this breadth of experience Philip can provide Commercial and Contractual Training, both in-house and externally which is based upon the concept of Avoidance, Management of those matters that to arise, Resolution of any disputes that remain in the most expeditious and cost effective manner
